Informatics Centre(NIC), South Goa District Unit, is providing support in software development, implementation
at District Collectorate, District Court, Education, Municipal Council and other departments.
NIC has developed/implemented following major

DC*Suite
is an integrated suite of applications for the
South Goa District Collectorate based on an
integrated solution architecture covering all
functional areas and activities of the South Goa
District Collectorate.
It is a web enabled solution built on industry

the total computerization of the South Goa

the Touch Screen based Kiosks installed at the
important places or through the SMS based service
provided by the South Goa District Collectorate.

Taluka-Suite |
Taluka-Suite
is an integrated suite of applications for the
Taluka and Sub-Divisioal level offices. It has
been implemented in five talukas and four
sib-divisional offices.
Inward,
outward and certificate modules have been
implemented. Residence, Income, Mediclaim,
Divergance, Freedom Fighter Children cetificates are being issued
through this system.

Land Acquisition Cases Monitoring Software.
|
It is used for monitoring of Land acquisition
cases of various LAOs and it generates reports of
i) Monthly cases status u/s 4,6 and award
declared.
ii) Lapsing cases u/s 4 & 6.
iii) Acquired land area report.

Land Compensation System
|
This system enables to enter the project,
acquired land, structure details. It calculates
compensation to be paid to the parties. It
generates Compensation statement, Form-AA,
Voucher, Form D, Form E, Possession certificates,
payment notices and letters.

Payrolls ( Non-Gazetted Staff)
|
Payroll package have been implemented in the
following departments,
a) Collectorate.
b) Jt Director of Accounts.
c) South Goa Education Department.
d) District Court.
e) South Goa Police.

Gazetted Officers paybills of following
departments are computerized,
a) South Goa Collectorate.

Election Information System
|
District Unit has extended support for
Parliamentary, Assembly and ZP elections during
election process.
Software is developed under VB and Access
platform to cover the following election
activities.
a) Polling Booths information.
b) Nominations
c) Polling Staff
d) Counting
e) Polling Day.

MPLAD |
Software have been developed in VB and Access
platform to monitor the MPLADS works. Software is
being used for Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha
constituencies.
It has provision to cover works details such as
work name, estimates, sanction, tender and funds
details. It generated number of useful reports and
all the orders/letters required for the
correspondence. |

This project is implemented in six market nodes
in Goa state. |
